Friday declared public holiday to celebrate Ramadan

Friday has been declared a public holiday in Cyprus as Muslims in Cyprus and around the world celebrates the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Fitre beginning from Friday June 15 to Sunday June 16 marking the end of 30 days of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.

Eid al-Fitre or Ramadan Bayram will begin on Friday morning with prayers at 6:16 am.
