House on fire in Yenikent
A two storey building in Yenikent district caught fire in the early hours of Friday morning, damaging several properties.
The fire on the house located on Kurtuluş Street in Gönyeli-Yeniken area reportedly started at about 1:00am on Friday. The reason for the fire could not be determined at the time of report.
The flames from the fire illuminated the dark night raising several meters into the sky.
Fire fighters arrived moment later and helped control the fire.
No one was reportedly injured in the fire.
