Cyprus Talks: Negotiations process in deadlock for two years but Nevertheless life continues - Akıncı

Turkish Cypriot president, Mustafa Akıncı has said that the Cyprus negotiations process has entered a period of stagnation due to the Greek Cypriot side’s stance.

Speaking at an event he attended, the President said that the failure of the Greek Cypriot side to put forward demands and proposals towards a settlement for the last two years had led to a deadlock in the process.

Nevertheless life continues and so we must continue our struggle to further improve ourselves in every field. Cultural and arts activities are one of those important fields, he added.
