Real offer Bale back to Spurs, Solskjaer wants to sell half of Man Utd squad

Gareth Bale has been offered to Spurs, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to swing the axe, Leroy Sane could join Bayern Munich and Antoine Griezmann is set for Barcelona.

Real plan to send Bale to Spurs

Gareth Bale could return to Tottenham Hotspur, but only on loan. Real Madrid have made it clear to the 29-year-old Welsh international that he is not in Zinedine Zidane's plans for next season, and they are willing to subsidise his wages in order to send him out on loan. They would expect a £10 million loan fee for Bale, who has been regularly booed by the Real fans this season, and Spurs are considering the option, say the Sun.

Solskjaer tells squad he will sell half of them

The Sun reports that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer threatened his Manchester United players with the axe after their 2-0 defeat to Cardiff City at Old Trafford on Sunday. He told the players in the dressing room that he would be prepared to sell half of the squad due to their under-performance and poor attitude in the second half of his term as manager. He then pointed out they need Manchester City to beat Watford so that their pre-season plans are not thrown into disarray.

The Daily Record carries a story that suggests that Bayern Munich are ready to sign Manchester City's Leroy Sane. The 23-year-old German international winger has a contract that runs out in 2021 and City do not want to let him leave for free, so have given the German club permission to talk to Sane's representatives. Bayern had been interested in Nicolas Pepe of Lille, which could see him move to Manchester United instead. 

Departing Griezmann set for Barcelona

Antoine Griezmann announced last night that he would be leaving Atletico Madrid in the summer, after trailing the decision over his future every summer for what seems like the last five years. The Daily Mail thinks that the 28-year-old French international will be on his way to Barcelona. The Spanish champions have decided to meet the £104 million asking price after falling apart in the Champions League against
