Ronaldo wants Jose reunion at Juve, Man Utd’s Koulibaly bid rejected
Jose
Mourinho to Juventus, Manchester United’s Kalidou Koulibaly bid, David
de Gea to PSG and Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich.
Juve for Jose?
Cristiano Ronaldo wants Jose Mourinho to take charge of Juventus, the Daily Mail reports. Massimiliano Allegri
is set to leave Juve this summer after five years in charge, and
reports in Italy suggest Ronaldo wants a reunion with Mourinho, who has
not managed since being sacked by Manchester United last December.
Ronaldo played under Mourinho at Real Madrid, while the Portuguese’s last stint in Italy ended with a treble-winning season at Inter Milan.
Record bid – rejected
Manchester United have seen a £95m bid for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly rejected, the Daily Mail reports.
The 27-year-old centre-back is said to be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s number
one target this summer, and reports in Italy claim Napoli have turned
down the bid, which is some £20m more than Liverpool paid for Virgil van Dijk last year – that £75m sum being the current world record for a defender.
PSG to wait on De Gea
Paris Saint-Germain will wait a year to sign David de Gea as they hope the goalkeeper will run down his contract at Manchester United, the Express reports.
The Spaniard is stalling on a new deal at Old Trafford, but PSG will
not push for a £60m move this summer as they look to play it safe with
Financial Fair Play. Instead, the Ligue 1 champions will encourage De
Gea to avoid signing a new deal and leave United on a free when his
contract expires in 12 months’ time.
Sane heading home?
Bayern Munich are growing increasingly confident of signing Manchester City winger Leroy Sane this summer, the Mirror reports. Sane has struggled to hold down a starting spot under Pep Guardiola at City, and with Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben both leaving Bayern, the German champions look set to turn their attentions to Sane, particularly as long-term target Callum Hudson-Odoi is potentially out for the rest of the year with an Achilles injury.
