Two African women caught with fake French passport at Ercan airport in North Cyprus
Two women of African origin were arrested at Ercan airport in North Cyprus on Friday as they tried to exit the country with French passports carrying someone else's name.
The two women were about to exit the country via the Ercan airport at about 11:00pm on Friday when they were caught with the fake French passport.
The identifies of the two suspects could not be ascertained by the police at the time of the report.
They were brought to a court in Lefkosa on Saturday and ordered to remain in detention for three days to allow police carry out investigation.
