13 people arrested in Girne and Güzelyurt for living illegally in north Cyprus

13 people were arrested between Wednesday and Thursday in Girne and Güzelyurt for living illegally in the country.

According to police report, 13 people were identified and arrested in an inspection against crime carried out in Girne and Güzelyurt between the hours of 9:00pm on Wednesday, June, 19 and 1:00am on Thursday, June, 20.

A total of 13 people were arrested, ten of them in Girne and three in Güzelyurt. One of them was found to be residing in the TRNC without permission and another was found to have entered the TRNC illegally in Girne.

Also, the inspection was carried out in Famagusta.

The police investigation into the incident continues.
