7 Illegal residents identified in Lefkosa, Güzelyurt and Girne
At least 7 illegal residents were identified and arrested in several parts of the country on Wednesday as Turkish Cypriot police continue a planned operational control against crime in the country.
The operation took place between Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.
Four were identified in Lefkosa, Two in Güzelyurt and one in Girne.
They were arrested and charged with residing in the TRNC illegally.
The operation will contiune on a daily basis till September.
