Arrest those who sold drugs to me, man tells north Cyprus police

Man who was arrested for drug crime by the TRNC Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Unit in Lefkosa, has called on the police to arrest those who sold drugs to him. 

The accused was arrested between the hours of 1:30 - 2:00pm on Saturday, June, 8 after police found 23 grams of Indian hemp in his home in Lefkosa during a drug operation in the area.

He was taken to a court in Lefkosa on Wednesday.

The accused told the court that he also want those who sold the drugs to him to be arrested.

I want those who sell me drugs to be arrested, he said.

He was ordered to remain in prison for a period of two months until trial.

The accused who is a foreigner in the country and has a valid work permit will have his work permit revoked.
