Cyprus Weather Today: Fine weather but rain expected

Friday will be mainly fine in most areas with increased local cloud at intervals but clouds which develop at midday and in the afternoon are expected to lead to isolated showers and thunderstorms inland, the mountains and on the southeast and east coasts. 

Temperatures will be 34 C inland, around 29 C on the west coast, around 31 C on the remaining coasts and around 24 C in the mountains.

Tonight will be mainly fine but there will be increased low cloud locally, mainly in the west and north. Temperatures will fall to 19 C inland, around 21 C on the coasts and around 13 C in the mountains.

The weekend will be mainly fine but clouds that develop at midday and in the mountains may lead to scattered showers in the mountains.

Temperatures are expected to edge up but remain close to average for the time of year.

A further small rise is expected on Saturday and Sunday with temperatures climbing to a little above average for the time of year.
