Two detained for illegal residency in North Cyprus

At least two people were identified and arrested by the police in a raid carried out across the country on Friday and Saturday night.

According to police report, two people without a resident permit in the country were arrested in the raid carried out between Friday, June, 21 and Saturday, June, 22 as part of an operation to rid the society of miscreants.

One was arrested in Lefkosa and the other in Girne.

They were detained and will be taken to court.
