Two people injured in bloodbath in Lefkosa
A bloody fight at Gallipoli region of Lefkosa on Thursday evening left two people seriously injured.
The fight that started at about 5:00pm on Thursday evening due to a disagreement between two people turned into a blood bath.
Residents of the area thrown into panic and fear when a 29-year-old Turkmenistan national who was reportedly drunk attacked a 43-year-old man who was a guest in his house.
According to information obtained from the Police Press Officers, both people were injured in various parts of their bodies due to broken glass and bathroom window glass.
One of the wounded in blood, went to a grocery store in the region and asked for help and then collapsed in the street.
Medical teams arrived at the scene and intervened. He was taken to the Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkosa.
It was learned that he had 7 stitches.
The other person was slightly injured and taken to hospital by police.
They were arrested after their treatment.
