Yellow warning issued! A summer storm is coming!

Winter is invading the summer period according to a yellow warning issued by the Cyprus Metro Office unstable weather is expected on the island with heavy rainfall and thunderstorms on Thursday afternoon. 

According to the Cyprus Metro Office the weather on Thursday will begin with fine bright sunny spells however during the course of the afternoon heavy rain, thunderstorms and possibly hail will be witnessed inland and on the mountain areas.

Temperatures expected to rise to 34 degrees inland, 28 degrees in the West and North coasts, 30 in the South and East coasts and 24 degrees in the mountains.

The forecast also predicts rain, thunder and hail for Friday and the weekend temperatures set to remain the same.
