Cyprus Weather Today: Scattered showers expected on Wednesday and Thursday

Wednesday weather will be mainly fine but early afternoon clouds may lead to isolated showers or thunderstorms in the mountains and inland.

Temperatures will rise to 37 C inland, around 31 C on the coasts and around 28 C in the mountains.

At night, it will be mainly fine with increased cloud at intervals, mainly on the coasts and in the mountains, while scattered showers or isolated thunderstorms are expected in the west and north.

Temperatures will fall to 19 C inland, around 22 C on the coasts and around 15 C in the mountains.

Temperatures will remain at the same levels which is close to average for the time of year.

Thursday will be mainly fine with increased cloud locally at intervals, while isolated rain is possible in the morning in the west and north. 

Clouds that form early in the afternoon are expected to lead to isolated rain or thunderstorms in the mountains, inland and on the southeast and south coasts.

Temperatures will edge down, mainly inland and in the mountains to a little below average.

Friday will be mainly fine with increased local cloud at midday and in the afternoon. Temperatures will edge up to close for average for the time of year.
