Davido and Cardi B's show cancelled in Belgium music festival

Davido and Cardi B were billed to perform in music festival in Belgium at the weekend but fans were left disappointed, stranded and thousands of dollars out of pocket when they arrived the event venue only to be told hours later it had been cancelled.

 

VestiVille promised to be “the gateway to an Urban Oasis of Music, art and wonder” and took social media by storm after announcing major acts like Nigeria's Davido, Cardi B, A$AP Rocky and Trey Songz.

Attendees spent thousands on tickets, accommodation and flights for the three-day festival only to be told the event wouldn’t be happening after they had arrived.

The organisers cited security concerns as the reason behind Friday’s cancellation, but local officials have reportedly launched a fraud investigation into the event.
