Two arrested for illegal betting in Girne

Two people were arrested for illegal betting operation in Girne, numerous computers and cell phones seized.

The two accused, a 38-year-old and a 36-year-old were arrested on Sancar Street in Kyrenia, on Thursday, July, 11 by the Department Combating Financial Crimes for operating an illegal betting and gambling on the internet without permission from the competent authority.

11 computers, 7 mobile phones and various documents were taken seized.
