Yellow weather alert issued for Thursday in Cyprus
The Cyprus met office on Thursday issued a yellow warning for extremely high temperatures, expected to reach 40C inland.
The alert will be in effect from 1pm to 4.30pm.
High temperatures, that may exceed 40C, are expected to continue at least until Monday.
