Man arrested with fake passport in south Cyprus airport
A 33-year-old man was arrested on Monday night when he attempted to depart from Paphos’ airport in south Cyprus with a fake passport.
According to the report by Greek Cypriot police, the man from Iran was caught during passport check when he presented a fake Czech Republic passport.
His aim was to go to Britain to work, police said.
The man allegedly confessed that he purchased the fake documents from Kyrenia in north Cyprus on August 22.
