Student, 17, knifed to death after killer thought victim's pal had stared at him

An innocent teenager was stabbed to death after his crazed killer thought his friend had stared at him.

Malcolm Mide-Madariola, 17, attempted to act as "peacemaker" when Tammuz Brown confronted a boy who had passed him in the corridor at a sixth form college a couple of days before the attack.

But Brown, 18, plunged a 12-inch Rambo knife into Mr Mide-Madariola's chest, close to his heart, during the confrontation.

The business studies student was rushed to hospital but died on November 2 last year.

Brown was yesterday caged for a minimum of 16 years for murder and possessing a knife after a trial at Old Bailey.

His friend Treynae Campbell, who gave him the weapon, was handed 28 months at a youth offenders' institution at an earlier hearing after admitting having a blade.

The teenager was rushed to hospital but couldn't be saved.

Floral tributes were placed near the scene at the time.
SAD!!
