Kanye West can add another milestone to his already legendary career, as the results for the first sales week of his latest album “Jesus Is King” have just been released. According to @Billboard, Ye returns to a familiar spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart, as his new album debuts at number one.

It’s his 9th consecutive debut at number one, which now ties him with fellow rapper Eminem for the most consecutive number ones in Billboard history. Kanye and Eminem are now both ahead of The Beatles, who had eight consecutive number ones.

“Jesus Is King” marks 14 years of consecutive number one albums for Kanye, from 2005 all the way through 2019. His only album to not debut at number one was his Grammy-winning, critically-acclaimed 2004 debut, “The College Dropout,” which debuted at number two. The album, released on October 25th, earned 264,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. and 196.9 million on-demand audio streams for the album’s 11 tracks.

However, that’s not all, as Kanye also achieves some other impressive feats courtesy of this album as well.

He now has the 6th most number ones on the Billboard 200, the 5th biggest streaming week of 2019, 2nd largest sales week for an R&B/Hip Hop album this year, his 6th number one album of decade and the biggest streaming week of his career.
