Cyprus Weather Update: Fine weather today with local clouds

Wednesday will be mainly fine with intervals of increased cloud locally as weak low pressure affect the area. 

Temperatures will rise to 12 C inland, around 13 C on the coasts and around 0 C in the higher mountains. Ice is expected in the higher mountains while early in the morning there will also be frost locally at lower altitudes.

At night, temperatures will fall to 6 C inland, around 8 C on the coasts and around -4 in the higher mountains. There will be frost in the mountains and locally in semi-mountainous areas.

Thursday will be mainly fine initially but clouds will form later which may lead to isolated, mainly light showers and in the higher mountains, snowfall. Friday will see intervals of sunshine and intervals of increased cloud.

Temperatures will edge up on Thursday to close to but still slightly below the seasonal average. They are expected to drop again on Friday to below average.
