Man jailed 20 days in north Cyprus for recording his sexual relation with a woman without her consent

A Turkish man who secretly recorded his sexual intercourse with a woman in north Cyprus has been arrested and detained for violating the woman's privacy. 

The accused identified only as A.A reportedly committed the crime on January, 23 in Lefkosa and was arrested for violating the privacy of private life".

According to police report, the accused met the woman in Lefkosa on the said day, took her to his house in Lefkosa and had sexual intercourse with her.

During the episode, the man reportedly brought out his mobile phone and secretly recorded his sexual relation with the woman without her consent. 

The accused who is a tourist in the country was arrested upon complaint and the sexual image of the woman in question was found in the examination made on the mobile phone by the police. 

He was sent to prison for not more than 20 days.
