Another case of coronavirus confirmed in North Cyprus

A new case of Covid-19 has been confirmed in Northern Cyprus, bringing the total number of cases in the country (TRNC) to 34 but three patients have recovered from the virus.

The new case involve a German tourist, among the same group as the others with coronavirus was confirmed on Saturday Morning.

This brings the total number of cases in TRNC to 34, of which 31 of them are German tourists and among the original group of 39 tourists who were quarantined in at the Salamis hotel after the case was confirmed early last week.

The 14-day quarantine period for the German tourists will end on Monday, March, 23 as preparation are being made for them to return back to their country.

Three patients were cleared of the virus on Friday as test carried out on them came out negative.
