Cyprus Weather Today: Local showers and isolated thunderstorms expected

Weak low pressure is affecting the area and there will be dust in the atmosphere at intervals until Saturday morning.

Friday will see increased cloud which will lead to local showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Temperatures will rise to 21 C inland, around 20 C on the coast and around 15 C in the mountains.
At night, temperatures will fall to 11 C inland and the north coast, around 13 C on the remaining coasts and around 2 C in the mountains.

Local showers are forecast for Sunday and local showers and isolated thunderstorms on Sunday.

Temperatures will edge down until Saturday, remaining at the same levels on Sunday at close to average for the time of year.
