One death and 32 new cases of coronavirus announced in south Cyprus

One more person has died of coronavirus in southern Cyprus on Tuesday and another 32 new cases of the virus confirmed.  

The patient, an 83 year-old man died from the virus on Tuesday said, the Cyprus Health Ministry. The man died from the complications caused by the virus.

This brings the total number of death in southern Cyprus to 8 of which seven are men and one a woman and total number of confirmed cases to 262 (including nine in the British Bases).

Of the eight fatalities, two had no underlying health issues with an average age of 68 years.

Of the new confirmed case, 13 were found through tracing of the contacts of those who were found positive to coronavirus, 4 are from the British Bases and 15 whose history is being investigated
