Planes unable to land at Ercan airport in North Cyprus due to severe wind

Severe wind and extreme weather condition caused disruptions in air transportation on Thursday evening preventing planes from landing in Ercan airport in North Cyprus.

One of such flights turned back to Turkey as it could not land due to strong wind and storm.

A Pegasus Airlines from Adana to Ercan returned to Adana, Turkey, while the other landed at the Gecitkale cargo airport in North Cyprus.
