Second case of coronavirus confirmed in North Cyprus
A second case of coronavirus has been detected in North Cyprus after a test carried out on the husband of the German woman diagnosed with the virus on Tuesday came out positive for the virus.
This was made know by the TRNC Ministry of Health on Thursday evening.
The second case detected on Thursday is the husband of a German tourist who tested positive for the virus on Tuesday after she reported to the Famagusta Hospital complaining of fever, the report said. Her condition is stable, the report added.
Her husband who initially tested negative later developed a fever and tested positive for the virus on Thursday.
The announcement added that no TRNC have been diagnosed with the virus.
