TRNC bans more countries, students, those with resident and work permit from entering

TRNC authorities on Sunday extended it's ban on entry into the country to include citizens of 71 countries, students, workers and those with resident permit.

The new ban was announced after a meeting by the TRNC Council of Ministers on Sunday.

Explaining the new measures, TRNC deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister, Ozersay said;

-A State of Emergency will be declared if conditions changes and everyone will be prevented from entering the country except citizens of the TRNC.

-New students, those with resident and work permits will not be allowed into the country until March, 27.

-Universities and schools in the country will remain closed until March, 22.

-British citizens with resident permit in the country will not be allowed entry into the country.

The new ban will come into force on Monday, March, 16.
