Two new cases of Covid-19 confirmed in TRNC
Two new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Northern Cyprus on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases there to 44.
TRNC Health Minister Ali Pilli made this known in a TV broadcast on Wednesday evening.
He explained that two test conducted on 61 people on Wednesday who came in contact with a patient who is currently on treatment came out positive.
This brings the total number of cases in northern Cyprus to 44 with no death recorded.
Earlier in the day, 8 more cases were announced in southern Cyprus which brings the total number of cases there to 132 and 3 deaths and 176 island-wide.
