For the 13th day running, no new case of coronavirus was reported in TRNC

For the 13th day in a row, no new case of coronavirus was reported in northern Cyprus with the total number of cases remaining at 108.

According to report on Thursday by the TRNC Minster of Health, Dr. Ali Pilli, 1,257 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours with no confirmed positive case.

The test were carried out at Famagusta Police Department, Iskele Police Service, Famagusta Municipality, Serdarlı Health Center, Akdoğan, Vadili, Beyarmudu, Serdarlı, Famagusta and Iskele oil stations, Famagusta State Hospital fire clinic, Famagusta Medical Center, Life Hospital and Dentists in Famagusta region, Girne State Hospital Fire Policlinic, Cengiz Topel Hospital fire policlinic, Lefkosa state hospital fire policlinic, Lefkosa Cyprus oil, BRTK employees, Ministry of Public Works and Transportation, Prime Ministry, PGM narcotic and financial crime unit, Güzelyurt region markets and banks.

Pilli also stated that 12 of the 16 people sent for further investigation yesterday were negative and four were expected.  

So far, 12,267 tests have been carried out in the TRNC with 108 confirmed positive cases and 4 causalities. 

Dr. Ali Pili urged the public to be careful and not panic as the war against the virus is not over yet adding that there may be people with the virus who are asymptomatic.
