No new case of coronavirus reported in TRNC on Sunday

For the ninth day running, no new case of coronavirus was reported in northern Cyprus with the total confirmed cases remaining at 108.

TRNC Health Minister Dr Ali Pilli on Sunday announced that a total of 262 tests were performed and no positive cases were reported.

So far, 9,009 has been carried out with 108 confirmed positive cases and 4 causalities.

  1. My only question is why are we testing so little people per day whereas in the south the government is testing more than 1,000 people per day. The health minister needs to review his testing technics because if he continues like this, the lockdown will be extended till next year

    1. test is administered to those who have symptoms or complains. They won't come to your house to test you without no case of a close contact with someone infected. The North was very quick to issue a lockdown and close border when it was just one case. last point the population in south is 4times more than north.
