TRNC government extends lockdown and curfew in the country until April, 30

The TRNC government on Friday extended the lockdown and curfew in the country until the end of the month.

TRNC Deputy Prime Minister and the Spokesperson of the Council of Ministers, Kudret Özersay, made the announcement following a meeting of the Council of Ministers on Friday.

Özersay said the lockdown will be in place until April, 30.

The new measures are as follows'
-The decision on curfew is extended until April 30.  
-The total lockdown from 9:00pm until 6:00am, and ban on inter-district movement has been extended until April 30.
-Decisions on pharmacies and markets were extended until April 30. (Grocery stores will close at 8:00pm everyday while current pharmacies' working hours will continue until the end of the month with the same rules)
-The special measures taken in Dipkarpaz, Sipahi and Yenierenköy has been terminated but measures taken in other parts of the country will remain. 
-Police control at the entrance of Lapta and Alsancak will be removed. 
-No decision was made to open any sector as studies are continuing in this regards.
-Which sector to be opened will be evaluated next week.
