Welcome to the month of APRIL!!! Olomoinfo Blog welcome you our esteemed readers to this special month of goodness.

It's wonderful to have you here with us. How was the month of March? We hope it was good and wonderful despite the global lockdown amid the coronavirus crisis, Don't worry too much because April comes with a lot of hope and promises to be better.

How have you been isolating so far? what are your experiences like?

We wish all those who contacted the flu quick recovery and pray that help will come for countries overwhelmed by the pandemic.

We wish you good health, God's favor, blessings, protection and the very best in all your endeavors this month and beyond.

We urge you to open your mind to new possibilities and don't give up in what ever you are doing as you are just one step away from success. 

We want to wish all those who will be celebrating their birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, dedication, etc, a happy cerebration.

Some Facts about April
-April is named after the Greek goddess of love, Aphrodite. 
-In the Roman calendar, the fourth month April is spelled Aprilis, meaning "to open." 
-April is the first month of the year with exactly 30 days and the only month with an “i” in its name.
-“April” is an anagram of “pilar” which means “hairy”
-The Romans called this month Aprilis which may derive from the verb aperire meaning “to open”, referring to flowers and fruits opening.
-Festivals which were planned for April included Parrilla, a day celebrating the founding of Rome.
-The name Aprilis, then, fits April, because in so many places in the northern hemisphere April is the month when trees and flowers begin to bloom and go on to flower.
- “April is the cruellest month...” (opening line to  TS Eliot’s The Waste Land)..  
- “It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks  were striking thirteen,” (opening line of George  Orwell’s 1984).  
-‘April’ was the 250th most common name for a  baby girl in the UK in 2013. In the US it was 423rd. 
- According to a recent analysis, April showers  more often than not do not bring May flowers.  
- According to the Oxford Dictionary an ‘April  gentleman’ once meant ‘a foolish man; specifically  a newly-married husband, considered as a fool.’  
- “Men are April when they woo, December when  they wed,” (Shakespeare, As You Like It).  
- Four US Presidents were born and four died  during the month of April; in the UK three prime  ministers were born and three died in April. 
- No film with ‘April’ in its title, or actress named  ‘April’ has won an Oscar but in 1994 April Ferry was  nominated for Best Costume Design for ‘Maverick’.
