TRNC authorities moves night curfew to 10:00pm, restaurants, barbing saloons and others to open for full service

The TRNC Council of Ministers on Thursday announced some new measures that will allow some business to open including the shifting of night curfew to 10:00pm to 6:00am. 

Speaking on the decisions taken by the council of Ministers, TRNC Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Kudret Ozersay said the government have arranged for those who are unable to pay their rent in April and May to pay these two-month rents to the owners within six months after May.  
 
With the exception of some limited exceptions, we have decided to arrange for third country nationals and Turkish citizen not to be dismissed from their jobs by the Ministry of Labor until the end of June.

We changed the social welfare regulation. We have put an exceptional supplement that will allow us to make a cease under the social welfare regulation to citizens who have lost all their livelihoods due to the epidemic. 


Some of the measures are as follows;
-On Wednesday, May 20, a large number of businesses including restaurants and cafes will be allowed to open for normal service. 


-Beauty centers will open their doors alongside barbing saloons. The Ministry of Health will conduct tests in these places.
-Rents for April-May can be paid within 6 months from May.

-One-to-one training will start on Monday, May 18 and June, 1 in special education centers and nurseries.
 

-As of May 20, a policy decision was made to open restaurants, cafes, kiosks and buffets.

-Beginning from the evening of May 15, the night curfew is changed from 9:00pm to 06:00am to 10:00pm to 6:00am which will change again on May 20 to 12:00am- 06.00am.
