TRNC Health Ministry made a health risk assessment for countries visiting, drop Turkey to category B

The TRNC Ministry of Health has announced the regulations to be applied for a number of countries when they visit the TRNC starting 1st of July, and countries placed into three groups A, B and C. 

In the statement made by the Ministry of Health, the countries were divided into three categories as A, B and C groups and updated.  

The statement from the ministry read;

According to the data of the World Health Organization, the category of the passengers coming to TRNC as of July 1, 2020 is listed below.

Accordingly, passengers from countries in group A will have PCR Tests 72 hours before coming to TRNC .

When the countries in Group B arrive in the country they  will have a PCR Test. PCR samples will be taken and they will sign a contract until the test results are available and be placed in isolation in their accommodation and residence.  PCR tests will be taken from the airport, Girne Port and Metehan Border Gate. 

Passengers from Group C will be quarantined and they will cover their quarantine fees themselves. 

Other countries outside the C group will also be quarantined and will pay their fees.
