Another case of coronavirus reported in north Cyprus on Friday

Another case of coronavirus was reported in northern Cyprus on Friday increasing the number of cases to 4 in 2 days. 

The new case was detected on Thursday in addition to two other cases reported on Thursday and one on Wednesday, July, 1.

Minister of Health Ali Pilli said 1,280 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours with 1 positive case detected.

The case was a Kazakhstan national who came to the country by air. Kazakhstan is among the countries in group C. 

The new case was taken to the quarantine center in Burhan Nalbantoğlu hospital in Lefkosa where he/she will remain for 14 days.

The person came into the TRNC on Thursday night on a plane belonging to Pegaus Airlines.

Total number of new cases increased to 4 with TRNC in the first two days.
