Greek Cypriot group hang poster threatening to kill any Greek Cypriot who crosses over to the north

Posters inciting hatred and threatening to kill Greek Cypriots and those who cross from the south of Cyprus to the north with axes and fire.

The posters were hung on the outer fence of the Bayraktar Mosque in Nicosia earlier in the week.

The posters which had “Fire and axes to those who worship Turkish occupation” written in Greek caused an uproar on social media where they were posted by an individual.
 
A far-right extremist group named the Revolutionary Liberation Front which is along the lines of the far-right party ELAM claimed responsibility for the incident.
