There is no reason for schools not to open in the TRNC by September, 1, said Prime Minister, Ersin Tatar. 

Tatar made the statement at the General Assembly of parliamentarians on Monday evening when asked about the reopening of schools in the country and the Student Friendly Island Project.

According to him, "There is no reason for schools not to open by September, 1," adding that the Ministry of Finance is trying to fulfill its obligations.

He noted that there will be no shortage of payments and that there is an increase in the revenues of the Ministry of Finance.

The Ministry of State and Finance is the point to fulfill all its obligations, Tatar said.

He continued by saying “We cannot continue to isolate ourselves as the pandemic continues all over the world.

He stated that it is necessary to continue to tighten measures in the country as regulations will be made to apply penalty to people who do not comply with entry rules.
