TRNC announces new safety measures at Ercan Airport

The TRNC government has announced a number of new safety measures taken at Ercan Airport which resumed as of July 1.

The measures were published in the pandemic measures circular to be implemented at the airport.

According to the circular, all passengers arriving or departing from the airport have to wear protective clothing and masks.

Individuals who do not comply with this measure will not be allowed into the airport, airport facilities or to board any flights.

All individuals using airport shuttle services will be required to wear masks at all times.

Airport employees and personnel will be required to have their temperature screened before entering the terminal facility.

Arrangements to maintain social distancing within the terminal building will be made.

Antiseptic stands will be placed before and after passport control points.

No cabin luggage for the exception of laptop bags, handbags, briefcases or diaper bags will be allowed on flights.
 
All public areas, including toilets, will be periodically cleaned with antiseptics.
