Unlucky asylum seeker in south Cyprus arrested for working illegally after delivering food to the police

It was a bad day for an unlucky asylum seeker in south Cyprus on Monday after he was arrested for not having a work permit when he went to deliver food to the police.

Paphos police arrested an unidentified foreign national who delivered food to them after they found out he was working without a work permit, it emerged on Tuesday.

The incident happened on Monday evening when the man, a 25-year-old asylum seeker, went to the Paphos police HQ to deliver food.

The asylum seeker along with his employer, 32, were later charged to court.
