6 new cases of coronavirus recorded in North Cyprus on Monday

Six new cases of coronavirus were reported in Northern Cyprus on Monday bringing the total number of cases there so far to 277.

TRNC Minister of Health Ali Pilli stated that 1,922 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours and 6 positive cases detected.

The Minister stated that 4 of the positive cases came to the TRNC by air, 1 by sea and 1 was in contact with a previous case.

They have started receiving treatment at the State Hospital Quarantine Service in Lefkosa. 

6 people were discharged from the hospital after completing treatment.
