Four new cases of coronavirus reported in Northern Cyprus on Tuesday, one die in south Cyprus

Another four new cases of covid-19 were reported in Northern Cyprus on Tuesday after 8 cases were reported on Monday, bringing the total number of cases there to 183.

TRNC Minister of Health Ali Pilli in an announcement said 1,567 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours and 4 positive cases encountered. 

Pilli said that one of the positive cases arrived in the TRNC by air, three by sea.

They have started receiving treatment at the State Hospital Quarantine Service in Lefkosa.

Meanwhile, in southern Cyprus, 25 new cases and one death was reported out of 4,024 tests carried out today. ,While the total number of cases in Southern Cyprus reached 1277, the number of deaths due to Covid-19 was 27.
