NANS diaspora president, Dr Evidence Akhayere react to statements made by CEO of NIDCOM Hon Abike Dabiri

NANS diaspora president, DR Evidence Akhayere has reacted to statements credited to CEO of NIDCOM, Hon Abike Dabiri advising parents not to send their children to north Cyprus on the grounds that Nigerians are dying there mysteriously.

DR Evidence Akhayere, who is also a senior lecturer at Cyprus International University was on Roots TV and premium Times today to react to the statements made by the CEO of NIDCOM Hon Abike Dabiri. 

In his statements he said he has been in north Cyprus for 7 years and haven traveled around most countries in the world and has known no place as safe as North Cyprus. 

He also stated that he obtained his masters and doctorate degrees, in North Cyprus and can attest to the quality of education, as well as the international recognition of the countries education. 

Dr Evidence also stated that few deaths that have occurred in the country have been majorly naturally occurring causes, and disputes between people of shared nationality.

He therefore urges the NIDCOM boss to make proper investigations before making such claims, and also for media houses to engage more in investigative journalism rather than just selling stories.
