TRNC government return 1percent of purchase by credit or debit cards to citizens

The TRNC government has completed arrangement to return 1 percent of shopping made with credit or debit cards to citizens.

This means the figure corresponding to 1 percent of purchases made with credit or debit cards will be returned to citizens.  

To this effect, 1 million 279 thousand TL was deposited in banks on Thursday, said Minister of Finance Minister Olgun Amcaoğlu. Banks will deposit the relevant amounts into customers' accounts.

According to the Minister, the first payment of September 2019 took place on Thursday and from now on, returns will be deposited regularly every month. 
 
According to information released by the Ministry of Finance, the first payment was made on Thursday within the scope of the application that the government put into practice in order to register the informal economy and to relieve citizens in a financial sense during the pandemic process.
