Water supplies restored in TRNC after 3 days cut

Water service has been restored in Northern Cyprus after work carried out on the water was completed.

On Tuesday, the water affairs department announced that there will be cuts to water supply in the country for 3 days to enable maintenance and repair works to be carried out on the pumping equipment at the Geçitköy Dam.

The Water Works Department on Saturday announced that the maintenance, repair and arrangement works carried out in Geçitköy Dam and Pump Facilities within the scope of the Water Supply Project were completed on Friday night.  

It noted that the water lines have started to give water as of Saturday morning.
