Most area in Lefkosa left without water, students complain

Some students and residents in several parts of Lefkosa experiencing poor water supply has called on the authority to do something about it as soon as possible

Earlier in the week, Lefkosa Turk Belegesi announced that water supply in the area will be interrupted for a period of two days but the cut in water supply in the area has lingered more than the expected time announced by the government.

Some students who expressed their opinion on the issue said they have been facing water problem since Friday in Yenikent and Gonyeli.

The students also mentioned the frustration they face when they try to get water tanker to deliver water as some of them don't respond to their calls.
