7 New cases of coronavirus reported in North Cyprus on Saturday

7 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Northern Cyprus on Saturday which brings the total number of cases there so far to 836.

1,537 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours and 7 new cases were reported.

3 of the cases came to the TRNC by air, 3 by sea and 1 was a local case.

They have started receiving treatment at the State Hospital Quarantine Service in Lefkosa.

5 people were discharged from the hospital after completing treatment.

Earlier in the day, it was announced that a Covid-19 patient who had been receiving treatment at the intensive care unit died in the early hours of the day.
