One injured in accident along the Lefkosa-Famagusta highway

One person was injured in a traffic accident that occurred on the Lefkosa - Famagusta highway on Monday night.

The accident happened at about 7:00pm on Monday along the Lefkosa - Famagusta highway.

32-year-old Muhammet Mahmud Tulayev was injured in the accident.

According to police report, Muhammet Mahmud Tulayev was driving a onion laden van when he lost control of the steering near the dog shelter and crashed into an embankment on the left side of the road and rolled over while driving towards Famagusta.

The driver of the vehicle was injured as a result of the accident and taken under observation at the Famagusta State Hospital where it was determined that he had a waist fracture.
