Girl injured after a reckless driver refused to stop at Hamitkoy

An international student who was almost knocked down by a careless driver while trying to come out of a bus in Hamitkoy on Thursday night was seriously injured in the incident.

The incident happened at about 6:00pm on Thursday.

According to report reaching us, the victim, a girl was about getting down from a bus going to Haspolat from Lefkosa at a bus stop in Hamitkoy, when an on coming car that refused to stop made her lose her balance while trying to avoid a collision. 

She then fell to the ground and was injured in the process.

She was attended to by people who were around before medical aid arrived.
