TRNC government introduces online curfew Permit applications

The government of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has introduced the Curfew Permit System, through which individuals can apply online to obtain permission to go out on the street.

The online system was launched within the framework of the Curfew Order announced on Tuesday through the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs..

Members of the public who wants to obtain permission to go out on the street can fill in the required information by using this link https://permissions.gov.ct.tr/street .

The information required for digital permit applications to be made online from homes, phones, tablets and computers in an emergency must be filled in correctly and completely by the applicant.  

District mayors will send their digital permit documents via SMS to those whose permit application is evaluated and approved digitally.  

Thanks to the QR code on the Digital Permits, police will be able to automatically verify the document at their controls.

A permit will not be required in order to benefit from services that are open and closer to your residence.
